Is Inflammation Holding You Back? How Women Can Beat Chronic Inflammation for Good

The Science of Why

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine is a patient-centered, systems-based approach that looks at the root causes behind your symptoms—not just the surface-level diagnosis.

Instead of simply asking what’s wrong, we ask:

  • Why are you exhausted even after 8 hours of sleep?

  • Why are your hormones out of balance?

  • Why is your gut affecting your focus, skin, or immune system?

By investigating how different systems in your body interact, we uncover what traditional medicine often misses—and create a personalized plan for healing from the inside out.

Frequently Asked Questions

🧭 Getting Started

How long are appointment times?

Your journey begins with a free 15-minute discovery call to determine if we’re the right fit for your needs.

🔸 Initial intake appointment: 60 minutes (virtual paperwork completed beforehand)

🔸Review of findings: 60 minutes to go over lab results and launch your personalized treatment plan

🔸Follow-up appointments: 30 minutes, 2 times per month during your 5-month program

Do you see children?

At this time, I work exclusively with adults. My current practice is focused on supporting adult health and wellness through a functional medicine approach.

Do you see Medicare patients?

If you're a Medicare recipient, additional paperwork is required to formally opt out of Medicare services, as mandated by federal regulations.

Do you see patients outside of California?

At this time, care is limited to California residents, in accordance with licensure requirements.

💳 Payments & Insurance

Are payment plans available?

Yes, flexible payment plans are available upon request.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Absolutely. As a medical service, ReYOUvenate360 qualifies for Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) usage. A receipt will be provided for your records.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. However, we can provide a superbill for diagnostic services, which you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.

Are refunds available?

Refunds are not offered for medical services. If a refund is needed for labs or supplements, we will help coordinate directly with the respective company.

🔍 Labs & Testing

How often will labs need to be repeated?

It depends on what’s being monitored. Some labs, like genetic testing, are only needed once. Others, such as nutrient or hormone panels, may be repeated to track progress. We’ll create a plan that fits your specific needs.

Can I bring test results from other providers?

Yes, absolutely. Sharing previous labs from your PCP or specialists is encouraged. It helps reduce costs and gives us a fuller picture of your health history.

💊 Supplements & Medications

How will I receive my supplements?

Supplement recommendations are discussed during appointments. You’ll receive a personalized protocol, and supplements can be ordered online—shipped straight to your home.

Will you prescribe medications?

When necessary, prescription medications may be part of your care plan. However, the core of our approach is optimizing health naturally through root-cause interventions.

Will you remove medications prescribed by another provider?

No. Any changes to existing medications should be made by the original prescribing provider.

Will you refill medications from another provider?

No. Medication refills must be handled by the provider who initially prescribed them.

💻 Care Access & Location

Are all visits virtual?

Yes! All care is currently provided virtually for your convenience and accessibility throughout California.

Can I ever meet you in person?

While all standard visits are virtual, mobile visits are available for select services upon request (travel fees apply). We’re also planning future in-person events and a wellness location—stay tuned!

👩‍⚕️ Ongoing Care & Coordination

Do I still need a Primary Care Provider (PCP)?

Yes. You should maintain or establish care with a PCP for routine screenings and urgent medical concerns beyond the scope of Functional Medicine.

What happens after my 5-month program?

You’ll have the option to continue with ongoing maintenance care customized to your evolving needs. We’ll assess your goals and discuss what comes next.

💬 Uncertainty & Reassurance

I’m scared this isn’t going to work, or maybe this isn’t right for me. Any reassurance?

Feeling hesitant is totally normal—especially when trying something new.

Functional Medicine is a unique, whole-body approach that aims to uncover and address root causes rather than just treating symptoms. Many people find long-lasting relief and clarity through this method.

If you’re unsure, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to explore if this is the right path for you.
